Hayama Industrial Corporation

Hayama Industrial Corporation began its operations in 1979. A small workshop in Arty Homes, Valenzuela, Metro Manila, served as the birthplace of this 100% Filipino company. From its humble beginning as a machine shop and parts fabricator, Hayama has grown to become one of the Philippines' largest manufacturers of industrial equipment with materials handling systems as its main specialization.

In 1981, its founder Wilfred Gui envisioned the need to upgrade Filipino technology in the field of materials handling. Most of his clients being in the beer and beverage industry, Mr. Gui concentrated initially in the fabrication and installment of bottle and case conveyors. Backed by the skill and dedication of its pioneer craftsmen, Hayama started to make a name in the world of conveyors. The following years saw the Company acquiring new techniques in conveyor manufacture. The usage of Marbett conveyor components is a major breakthrough. The massive expansion projects in the soft drinks industry has paved the way for Hayama to work hand in hand with other foreign equipment and conveyor suppliers. Training of personnel and key managers is non-stop.

Since its birth in Arty Homes, Hayama has transferred its place of operation thrice. Its present workshop and offices are suitated in a piece of land covering 4,295 square meters at North EDSA in Quezon City. Newly-acquired metalworking machineries are properly laid out in this Plant. In 1989, an engineering a product development group was organized to complement the existing workforce. This enhances Hayama's capability to design and manuacture other materials handling systems. With the present trend of line automation, Hayama engineers have acquired knowledge in systems analysis and software preparation.
